As an actress, the Tennessee born made her debut in the 1980 comedy 9to5 opposite heavyweights Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin playing Doralee Rhodes. While Colin Higgins hit 1980 broad comedy work is by no means brilliant filmmaking, the 149 minutes are disarming, pitting an unlikely trio against a sexist boss.
