High in the hills above the Danube River sits a peculiar, yet grand 19th century built Greek Temple, Walhalla. Prince Ludwig of Bavaria commissioned the construction of marble structure after the disillusionment of the Holy Roman Empire. The monument is dedicated to famous German speakers.
