The 21st HollyShorts film festival starts on August 7th. The annual filmmakers gathering happens in Hollywood showcasing global short films. The Oscar qualifying fest is a must stop on the Oscar qualifying calendar. Last year, the Dutch short I’m Not A Robot premiered at the 2024 HollyShorts. Director Victoria Wamerdam won the Academy Award for Best Short Film Live Action.
This year 427 works were selected to screen in the TCL theatre over 10 days.
