LAP Cafes are springing up everywhere in Berlin. Not everyone in the city is happy about having cheaper coffee. The recent paint and graffiti attacks on the start ups properties have become topics of papers and table conversations. Are the prices so much lower than the normal coffee spot? Yes, on some items, no on others. There is little atmosphere, just order on an app, go in, pick up, leave in a somewhat sterile ambiance. One visit was enough. But, with inflation rates so high, going out for a daily 2.50 euro cappuccino is not a priority.
