Joan Crawford in Letty Laynton

Letty Lynton, the Joan Crawford lost film returns after 90 years. Due to copyright issues the 1932 work by studio director Clarence Brown was placed in a film storage closet, a sort of forgotten piece of cinema history. The famed puffy sleeved dress by designer Adrian took the country by storm. Department store chain Macy reported selling over 500.000 copies.

A restored version of the hit film screens on May 1st in Hollywood at the TCM Classic Film Festival.
