The trend in movies is to make a movie about rock stars. 80’s pop and punk singer Billy Idol is the latest subject of a big screen study. The British born William Michael Albert Broad became world famous with sex, sweat combined drugs with blonde locks, tight leather pants and the famous sneer. At the dawn of music videos, Idol became a regular face on televisions with videos including White Wedding. Yet underneath the show persona, a hell on wheels self-destruction lurked.
Billy Idol Should Be Dead premieres in US cinemas today Feb 26th.
