The third day of Paris Fashion Week Couture gave us moments. Balenciaga has a new head who stayed close to the original source material while two designers set their own tone.
Instead of going full throttle with a new interpretation of designs and shapes Pierpaolo Piccioli hit the gas with colors for his debut collection at Balenciaga. Appointed a year ago, the Italian head is not known for radical course change, rather safe at an appropriate speed limit. Feathers, a lot of material in the A line looks, Pierpaolo stayed close to the brand’s heritage rolling out confident tweaks to past looks.

Robert Wun drives down his own line. Fashion is a creative playhouse for the London based designer. Constructing pieces that seemed inspired from different influences; think one part Disney, one part Tim Burton.
Ashi Studio fashion dark tales came across loud and clear. Designer Ashi went vertical in the hip area. One taut look after another came down the runway graced with many embellishments. The corset mini dress with fringes is a standout.
