The Cannes Film Festival kicked off with no Hollywood this year. The world’s largest cinema party will show twenty-two films in the Competition section but none from a big studios. The majors adjusted their realeasing plans, moving away from cinema gatherings as launch platforms, instead going solo. Opening film “Electric Kiss” from director Pierre Salvadori fell short of the love from critics. But the 79th edition just started and Cannes is never boring.

On the fashion side, Team Black and Paper is styling on the French Riviera Red Carpet this year.
