The Berlinale 2026 comes to a close on this weekend but the scandal keeps rolling. There is more drama off screen than playing in the cinemas. Since the opening of the 76th annual cinema get together, the negative headlines just keep coming overshadowing the films.
Black and Paper was rejected from covering the film festival, focusing only on the movies. One suspicion is the critical podcast and continued critiques made concerning the direction. But, we would have kept it professional, not looking for a moment at the expense of the festival. Maybe it is hard for this cultural institution to move forward from a grudge.
