San Daniele HamIMG_20260123_143113_048.jpg

An introduction to San Daniele ham happened at Green Week Berlin during a rooftop presentation.  Not familiar with this particular East Italy delicacy, the invite was well received. The expression “good food brings good cheer” was the theme for the evening. Cuisine from this region is strongly influenced by this tasty meat.

San Daniele’s famed ham is cured with sea salt, then aged for up to two years makes for a wonderful blend of ingredients.   When sliced thinly, the meat melts on the tongue. The most striking characteristic of the ham is the aroma. Sweet, the immediate effect on the nostrils is a delightful craving.

Awarded the Protected Designation of Origin, each prosciutto must past quality control inspections based on historical traditions and transparencies.
